Term 3
                                                Collaboration
This week at ormiston primary in Hui Mr.McNeil said that this term will be collaboration themed.Since it was Monday the first day of term3 their were challenges that needed to be completed by LH1.Those challenges also had collaborative activities one of them was my favorite which was Mr.Dyer's. He did the blindfold challenge all you had to do was have a blindfold that covers your eyes and with your teammates help get across to the other side of the obstacle course without touching any of the cones, ropes or any obstacles that is lying around.Man that was a hard challenge but wait their is more next comes Mrs.Dillner with her collaborative activity which was crocodile swamp. All you had do is have chairs layed in a row and then the team stands on the rowed chairs while the last person at the end of the line has to pass on the chair that she/he is standing on but  without falling or touching the ground.Well that was sure a great day i promise myself this will be a fridaytastic memory!!!

Learning Area: Maths - Knowledge                                   Learning Coach: John Dyer
Learning Observed
Vrishti has been working on upskilling herself in mathematical knowledge. This has involved playing a range of games with others in her maths group. In this photo, Vrishti is using a range of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division strategies to reach a range of target numbers. She enjoys playing against her friends and enjoys it even more when she beats them!
Vrishti has a good grasp of doubling and halving which she used to good effect in this game. She is more confident adding numbers together and is growing in confidence when using a variety of the other three operations.
